L’Honnête collects and stores information about you that you provide to us when you visit the website, make a purchase from our website or contact our customer service. All personal data is stored within the EU and EES, and will only be used by L’Honnête and our associates. L’Honnête will not sell your personal data to any third parties for advertising purposes.

In order to be able to offer you Stripe’s payment options, L’Honnête will pass to Stripe your personal information, such as contact and order details. This will be provided in order for Stripe’s to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.

At L’Honnête AB, we value our customers’ personal integrity and strive to always protect their personal data in the best possible way. L’Honnête AB processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is L’Honnête’s objective to always comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding personal data protection. This policy helps you as a customer understand the type of information L’Honnête collects and how it is used. By accepting the policy in connection with a purchase or providing information, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described below.

Data Controller

L’Honnête, registration number 559284-0242, has the ultimate control over all data and has ensured the handling of your personal data through agreements with partners/companies. Therefore, L’Honnête is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that your data is handled correctly and securely in accordance with applicable legislation.

Where are your personal data stored?

L’Honnête stores all personal data collected from you within the EU and EEA, except as specified in this policy. We do not disclose personal data to third parties unless required by law, to fulfill our obligations to you as a customer, or as specified in the relevant privacy policy. What personal data is collected?

The information we collect is the information you provide to us, such as your name, postal address, delivery address, personal identification number, email, and telephone number. We collect information related to your purchases, such as purchased items, price, date, and store of purchase, as well as returned items. When you contact our customer service or participate in engagements, we also collect information about your personal data in order to fulfill our obligations to you as a customer.

L’Honnête processes credit card numbers but does not store credit card information. This information is only stored by the credit and payment service provider. In cases where we do not have a complete personal identification number, L’Honnête will supplement this information through an external provider for secure identification. L’Honnête automatically retrieves and updates your address information from the population register through an authorized provider.

Personal Data of Children 

L’Honnête does not have targeted offers for children and does not actively collect personal data of children. If you, as a guardian of a child under the age of 16, become aware that the child has provided their personal data to us, we would appreciate it if you could contact us for the deletion of that information. How do we use your personal data? 

  • We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • In the case of installment payments or credit, send your information to the credit company, see Terms and Conditions.
  • Process your orders and returns.
  • Send SMS notifications when your order is available for pick-up at the post office.

Storage period 

When you provide your personal data to L’Honnête, you consent to L’Honnête registering and storing your purchases and processing the provided information for the purposes mentioned above. We will not store your personal data for longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes stated above or as long as we are required to store your personal data by law. After that, your data will be deleted. Every 36 months, data provided by no longer active customers will be anonymized.

Google 

As part of our marketing efforts, we analyze data, including personal data, regarding your use of our website www.lhonnete.com and your activity on our social media pages (for information about the cookies we use, see “Cookies”) as well as information about your potential purchases. For example, we process your personal data to customize the ads and offers you see based on information about your previous browsing and to develop our products and services.

Furthermore, we and Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”), may use your personal data to evaluate your use of our website www.lhonnete.com and for services related to website activities and internet usage. As we use Google Analytics, your personal data will also be disclosed to Google. As a result, your personal data may be transferred to and stored on Google’s servers located worldwide. Your personal data may therefore be processed on a server located in a country different from the one you reside in. Google may also transfer your personal data to third parties if required by law or when third parties process the information on behalf of Google.

What rights do you have? 

You have the right, at any time (free of charge once a year), to request information about the personal data we have stored, the purposes of processing that data, and information about where it was obtained from. The request to access such information should be in writing and sent to our customer service at the address provided below. To locate your personal data in all our databases, we will need your name, social security number, address, and telephone number. If you wish to have your personal data disclosed for the purpose of using it elsewhere (data portability), please contact info@lhonnete.com.

If you believe that the personal data processed by L’Honnête is incorrect or has been processed in violation of applicable laws, you also have the right to request that such personal data be corrected, blocked, or deleted. You can do this by contacting our customer service at info@lhonnete.com.

L’Honnête is obliged to retain personal data for accounting purposes for 7 years in accordance with applicable accounting laws and may therefore, in some cases, be required by law to process your personal data even if you have requested its deletion.

Who has access to your personal data? 

Your personal data will not be transferred or sold to third parties for advertising purposes. However, your personal data will be disclosed to third parties if necessary to provide services to you, such as suppliers within:

  • Transportation – to securely deliver your ordered products.
  • Payment solutions – if you choose to pay in installments, we will forward your social security number to payment and credit companies that require it for credit assessment and the establishment of related credit agreements.
  • When using Stripe’s payment methods, L’Honnête needs to share personal data such as contact and order information with Stripe. This is to allow Stripe to assess if their payment methods can be offered to you and to tailor the payment methods to you. More information about Stripe can be found here. The use of this information is governed by applicable data protection laws and Stripe’s policy.
  • Authorities – to fulfill our legal obligations, such as PostNord, the Swedish Tax Agency, or other authorities.
  • IT services – to provide services necessary for our operations, technical support, and maintenance.
  • Marketing – for analysis of your personal data and distribution of offers. We may also disclose your personal data to third parties for the purpose of updating and adding information from the national population register or other public registers to facilitate our ordering process when you place an order in our webshop.
